Random thoughts, experiences and ramblings about raising kids, being a grandma, cooking, cleaning, being a trucker's wife, homeschooling, simple living, writing, drawing, National Novel Writing Month and anything else that comes my way
"To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common."

We haven't even purchased any pumpkins this year. :( I just ran out of time. Your jack-o-lantern is cute. I think we have that same electric heater. Did you know the smaller stove type heater- heats the same area as the larger fireplace style? I was happy to learn that.
---"heats the same area"--- I know, I couldn't believe it when we were looking down the line in the store, all of them, even the $800 one, heats 400 square feet! I really like it, it does the job and looks cute. :o)
